Southcentral Camp Meeting

JULY 23-27, 2024
Pioneer Peak Campground

Alaska's largest camp meeting is held in Palmer Alaska, approximately 45 minutes from Anchorage. Located on the Pioneer Peak campground, formerly the site of the Palmer Adventist school, the campus is surrounded by several mountain ranges, one of which is Pioneer Peak for which the campus is named.

Camp meeting kicks off Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Here are the highlights:

  • Check-in begins Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m., July 23.
  • Programming for both adults and children, with the exception of the Beginners class, start Tuesday evening. See the viewing schedule and youth programming links for details.
  • Once again there will be afternoon Health-In-Motion sessions to help get our bodies moving. Chair aerobics was a big hit and will be back again this year. We are trying to locate leaders for a stretching, mental health and cardio sessions. If you are willing to lead out, please email the conference.
  • Each year we have a community outreach component as part of camp meeting. This year we are collecting back-to-school supplies for our Arctic Mission Adventure villages. Bring items such as #2 and colored pencils, crayons, wide-ruled and college-ruled paper, markers, glue sticks, composition books and erasers.
  • Cafeteria service is available beginning Wednesday morning with breakfast through Friday evening dinner and there is no meal service on Sabbath.
  • If you can't be with us in person, programming is available online and will be accessible from your desktop, your tablet, or your cell phone via the conference website, YouTube channel and Facebook platforms.
  • The conference is accepting offerings through AdventistGiving in support of Arctic Missions. Thank you for your support of the 100% donor-sponsored ministry!
